UPVC window frames are all recycled and used in less exacting applications. A company that was in Barnsley, now in Sheffield is recycling them and old tyres to produce artificial fencing timber, and it is pretty good stuff too. I bought some to close in the gap under my shed and, because it doesn't soak up water, it will last I am sure. They will soon be selling it on the open market, and their founders are at a company called Gradsol, a company I helped found a few years back.
