Isle blockers in the isles I have encountered are mostly average age mothers and are more likely to have teen age children. They just stop side by side and natter blocking the isle up. Our Aldi is across the road from Tesco and Wilco with free parking. In Aldi the customers just blast there way round to the items that are priced below the other supermarkets and head for the checkout. We do the same.
The layout of our store has all the non food items in the middle of the store with food around around all four sides.
It is the only supermarket with this layout I have ever used.
