Better than my horological efforts, mine's more of horrorlogical, many years ago in my youth I came across on old pendulum mantle clock which was all workie workie, I decided to convert it to a longer pendulum and mount it all in a glass case which I had made, I ended up cutting off every other tooth on one of the wheels, the wheel that does the timing (escapement wheel?) and with a bit more frigging around I got it to work and it was reasonably accurate over a week, trouble was there was an odd number of teeth left on the wheel and everytime it came round there was a clunk as it jumped a beat.....
