Hi Lawrence,
The problem is not the CT coil but the split rotor tuning cap. I know there are ones from superhets around, but these have for arguments sake a 500pF side and a 460pF.
Others for professional or Ham use with equal rotors cost more than I can afford in these times. When I see stuff on Fleabay the postage to Spain usually puts me off and more often than not UK sellers will not send outside the UK.
