I've stuck with hp for many a long year, although always the more expensive ones, mainly because of the extra features.
My current Photosmart C7280 All-in-One is going strong, although it's now, sadly, obsolete.
I've tried 'Compatible' cartridges and Refills, and they're simply not as good as the real ones. Anyway, for the amount of printing I do Cartridge cost is not a problem.
When it expires, as it no doubt will, I'll get another hp.
