As you know Gary I'm 100% miserable because I don't drink; smoke; do drugs and detest sport but I still don't like being ripped off when buying printer ink.
If printer/all in one manufacturers charged a decent price up front for their goods then perhaps they could bring the price of ink down to match their non OEM competitors after all these suppliers of cheap cartridges must make a profit or they wouldn't be selling them?
I've just paid £99.99 for my new Canon all in one; would Canon actually lose out if I was charged say £150 for the all in one then could buy OEM cartridges at their competitors prices? I certainly would not buy compatible cartridges if I could buy originals for a similar price.
Take me as an example; I've now bought the Canon all in one and perhaps Canon has made a profit but how much further profit are Canon going to gain from me when I buy compatible ink cartridges refusing to pay such high prices for Canon cartridges?
