Aaaaargh!
Many years ago, in the days of 2 BBC channels, 2 ITV channels and Channel 4, my T.V. Watching was probably evenly spread over all of them. But not so nowadays: I haven't watched anything on ITV for ages, and that is simply because I don't regard anything that appears on those channels as worth watching - or even looking at; ditto BBC3.
To me, it just seems that there are simply far too many T.V. channels available - especially with the BBC. The quality of the programmes broadcast produced seems to be inversely proportional to the net total of broadcast hours produced.
Just my viewpoint.

Yes, it's true and I confess (Eastenders) I think basically we're all turning old and grumpy but I have to agree about the number of channels etc, BBC 4 is the most watched in our house, I watch Newsnight if I can and also Channel 4's 7pm news if I'm allowed to.
If they dropped a bomb on the whole lot then I wou;ld probably find something more usefull to do.
Lawrence.
