HI Gents If you use Ali, then Alusol solder makes good joints. Once Ali is tinned ordinary tin/lead can be used on top.
Best to keep a bit specially for the Alusol.
It is also possible to buy Ali foil with a conductive adhesive, not to be confused with the nickle etc alloys that are used for MIL Rf screening and are massively expensive (but solderable).
