I like this one, my kind of mechanics...Simple... Note the distance from reel of wire to the winder to ensure a more constant feed angle and the pre cleaning and tensioning mechanism.
You could modify this by making different radius wire guide shoes for different diameter formers, I am guessing that once the first layer is done then the guide shoe would not be needed. with a bit of ingenuity you could wind on to square formers.
I like the speed...time to read a book, have a cuppa or two or design a radio for the coil to fit in.
The video lumbers on a bit but I am impressed with the end result, there are twp parts to this video.
