I might have some parts.
I have some NOS 8 track heads and the owner of a valve copycat retrofitted his set with some of the heads I have.
They sell for a bit of a price on auction.
I also have some germanium transistor 3 3/4 IPS record/playback PCBs with two channels each.
They are early OC71 transistors and could be stripped and the transistors sold on auction at a price too.
I may have a couple with NKT transistors in metal cans. These would be better for a project like yours.
They would have all the hiss of an early copycat for sure.
I did make a 3 head half track echo machine out of one of these PCBs about 20 years ago and would need to see if I still have the pin-out for the boards. I also have some bias/erase oscillators that are push pull OC81Zs
If I get a PM we will be able to see some pictures.
