I managed to snag the lead on my external 1.5 Tb disk drive and it fell off the table
onto a tiled floor. After picking it up it seemed to work, Big PHEW!!!
the day after I connected it and no go it made a few noises but nothing. Changed the driver board, same result nada!
Opened it up as you do!!!!! Heads move but obviously don't read anything.
Anyone else had this and managed to restore anything or is it just good for the motor and the magnets???
