Agreed! I quickly bailed out of that chapter and went to where I could find an answer to a particular project question I currently have. I have some MJ3000 darlington pair power transistors and wanted to know what biassing resistors I needed in a high current PSU I am building. The relevant chapter was superb, giving me more ideas of how to make it more efficient and a lot more.
So, all in all, a book to dip in and out of. Now have to convince the missus that reading it at bedtime is good for my health!
