Yes I have noticed the shiny Hackers on Ebay and did wonder if they would have looked so glossy when new? I suspect not, I recall period Roberts sets having at most a satin sheen.
Do you have a foam cleanser you prefer?
I confirm the set is black and has a Goodmans speaker with three slot head (bolts/set screws) in a line across the magnet.
