Hi John,

I just use foam cleanser on my Hacker sets. It does a great job of removing the dirt (scrubbing with an old nailbrush if required), and dries leaving a fairly matt finish. Some people prefer their sets to shine, so apply other treatments - not that I've tried any of them. I've no way of knowing what they looked like when new, but to me at least, a sober matt finish suites them...

Be aware that although foam cleaner is very mild, it can remove the dye in the Rexine that Roberts tended to use.

"boiss", before I add your set to the database, what colour is it, and does it also have a Goodmans loudspeaker with 3 bolts in the magnet?
