No probs with ripple current with motor run caps Colin.
I restored a Stewart Warner once that had an electro capacitor box. The values werent that high and if I'd have given it more thought I could have easily built the values up with poly types, plenty of room in the box. But I used good, well over speced, electros. Someone might curse me in 50 years time
