New computer.

[Retired]

Hi,

Thanks Gary; Legacy?

I'm settling in nicely with this new computer; it's wonderful to watch videos without buffering or audio breaking up; Aurora is a delight on emachineshop CAD now that I can listen to her during her tutorials.

I needed to download "Adobe Flash Player 11" so everything so far is top notch; even GF loads rapidly; before with my old computer I could have a pot of tea and sandwich whilst it loaded and trying to navigate the pages took forever.

I could have tagged this new computer onto the other thread but thought as it covers a new computer it might bring in a few replies in its own right.

I should be OK now for a few years knowing everything is brand new and up to date; I'm sure that I made the right decision in the end not to upgrade or have a computer made to my own spec; this one should be well on top of everything I currently need in a computer and it wasn't expensive.

I wondered where "Outlook Express" had got to but it isn't available for Win7 being replaced by "Windows Mail".

Kind regards, Col.
