Thinking about it my analogy of comparing going back to a HDD to a floppy was very exagerated. A better comparison would have been to compare a cordless mouse to one with a cable. Would you ever go back to a cable one after optical cordless? Unless of course some are still using them.

Another example would be going back to Dial Up modems.

To me making and having things quicker for the masses is not really a bad thing. The old adage of "No one ever complained about a PC that was too fast" still holds.
