I think the one that Chronos sell is the same - the Toolzone on seems fairly generic when you do a google search on 'dial test indicator'. Very good value for money.

(You should be able to clamp the magnetic base on the Unimat somewhere). The problem with the chuck being off centre, even if only a little, is that of course it not only takes metal off one 'side', it fails to take it off the other. As we know, with a correctly centred chuck, what we take off comes of both 'sides'. I know that 'side isn't really the right term when referring to something that is round, but you know what I mean!

You won't be stuck for things to do when you retire - I'm still working down my 'Do List' from 1994!!
