Hi David,
Very interesting. I bought a dial gauge a while ago that looks almost the same as yours from Chronos engineering. It seems a wee bit big to use with the Unimat which is a very small lathe. Given that my garage is now fit to burst with the amount I have crammed in it, i think it will be a while before I can get around to turning again (although I have a now have some work to do!!!).
Time for a another clearup (and out) looming!!!
