Thanks, Rob. I won't be bothering as I've got two other sets in bits at present anyway. I haven't really got the experience yet to play about with anything really good. Besides that I wouldn't be prepared to pay anything like a reasonable price without actually seeing it as the one I saw shows signs of been modified already. Sometimes things seem to sneak through cheap though. I'd better shut up about it as I may be straying into forbidden areas.
I got interested as I was wondering how they differed from the more common DAC90/A but if I can't plug anything else into it I'm not too bothered. Besides, I'm determined not to get addicted to this collecting lark. They ought to add a bit about that to the warning/disclaimer!
I've also got a pre-war Pennine Amplifiers radio-gram that I want to tackle at some point and I'll be able to connect what I like to that.
