A lot of domestic appliances such as tumble driyers and washing machines seem to use those mutliple V belts Colin, as does my Elektra Beckum bandsaw.

Hope you have a productive weekend with the lathe clutch project. I wouldn't put it past you - despite the weather - for you to be scrambling over a stack of written-off cars with a hammer and socket set searching for the holy grail of air-con compressors! A doddle compared to chimney re-builds and swinging from a rope with a chainsaw 40ft up a Scots Pine, digging up your drains, or whatever!
