has your radio got a vave output stage? if not just a 0.1mf cap to the top of the volume control .
if its valve a pair of 47k resistors one for left and one for right to top of volume controle.
you will not need a load resistor as you can feed a low impedence signal into a high inpedence circuit.
the 0.1 mf is so you dont upset the dc conditiond in the output stage.(direct coupled solid state)
the 2 47k's act as a simple stereo to mono mixer.
