Well I am flattered to see what an effect my talk on Sunday had. Everyone who attended seems to have gone away happier and more enlightened. From the feedback I've had so far the scope probe set up and the measurement effects section(as mentioned by Yorkie) appear to be the most talked about sections.

It is true that I missed out a fair bit of material as you'll see if you read the notes but if Mark will have me back I'll do a follow up and can even do other talks. I have an idea for one but I'll need to work on it .

As you may have gathered I've joined this forum having only recently discovered it so hopefully will make a useful contribution to the combine knowledge and wisdom of the members.

I do hope you'll find the time to post, and to join in some of the threads. It's a very friendly and relaxed forum, sensibly moderated, and if - as sometimes happens - anyone drifts off topic, no-one swoops down like an avenging angel to close the thread. The ethos is to encourage rather than to discourage, involvement. Also, there are sections for other hobbies such as lathes, woodwork, metalwork and so on, and a 'lounge' for general chit chat.

What's not to like about that?!
