I found a circuit diagram for the Minerva so I have something to start with at least. I gave it a good clean up and the chassis is built like a tank - and weighs a ton. Alas the cabinet is not built to take such a weighty chassis so I found it was coming apart along multiple joints. I've glued it up so I can put the chassis back in. The speaker baffle was also coming adrift - the speaker is too heavy for the soft wood that it screws into. For now I'm just trying to get it to a point where it won't deteriorate if left on my to-do shelf for a while.

One of the common features on both sets is that all the knobs are turned wood, not bakelite.
