One thing you do need to be aware of with these Bush sets. The heat on the dropper was shielded by Asbestos and on mine, it was very flaky. Dilys wouldn't have it in the house so it is currently outside, shielded, waiting for a decent day.
The valve heaters are in series and as Yorkie says, there is no shunt across the bulb. Might be worth fitting one?
The dropper is 1k, and at 50Hz, this dropped a fair wattage. On mine I will use a capacitive dropper. Paul's dropper chart makes this 2.83 uF with a surge limiter of 50 Ohms and 2 Watts.
