Would there be any reason why connecting the field coil in series with the HT +ve (as a conventional C L C filter) wouldn't work providing the 250r was decoupled with a capacitor.
The reason I ask is that my R1155 receiver uses the same floating chassis bias arrangement and the receiver is powered by a conventional C L C filter power supply.
