Ah! I draw the line at this but I do not want to start a huge debate please. Being part of a £9.5billion (now concidered slightly less) project with the minimal of accidents and injuries (and a first of no fatalities - and yes, I've had to deal with one of these in the past!) I consider that this approach works extremely well.
I do get fed up with this idea that we (safety professionals) are trying to stop the flow of progress in business. Quite the reverse, we want to ensure that business blossoms without any problems or issues and that we correctly protect individuals as necessary.
I've said enough!
