If it is, then look underneath the pick-up and you may see a spring and several holes. Or on the top of the puck-up arm, is that a screw?

Looks like the one, Steve. I'll check that spring setting, which sounds like the tracking weight adjustment. The screw in the top of the arm pivot adjusts the vertical set-down position, AFAIK. I can't find a service manual for the 3000 on the 'net.
