It was just that I'm not sure that I can do much in the short term. However, there is a mains cable attached, complete with 13A plug, so I suspect that someone in the past has tried to refurbish it.
One of the IFTs is wrong, and even the other (square) one is battered. Oddly I have some round Pye IFTs, but they are post-war. If anyone is scrapping a Pye with 'square' IFTs please let me know.
