Well done on getting that at a bargain basement price - great radios to work on - easy access to the components on the underside, and designed as a general coverage receiver with no extraneous features of a military nature, so well suited to a domestic environment, unlike say an 1155. Well worth the effort to bring it back to life and you'll be pleased with the performance - indeed, it might even wean you off DAC90As!
Err, it needs an external PSU, Aerial and Speaker just like the R1155 does.
