Hi Joe, I can't comment on the lettering type as it is a very long time since I last saw a PCR in the flesh, some times these things come up quite well with a gentle clean, if it is printed but bad then maybe rub on transfers or something or a steady hand with a fine brush if you want it to stand out newish looking. I did a Hallicrafters front panel that was in about the same state as that PCR, albeit it had raised lettering (raised by not a lot!) it's in the gallery under Hallicrafters SX17, I have always found the best way is to think about it for quite a while before jumping in.
