Yes, Mark - Until you mentioned it, I didn't recognise it as a delta at all! Why? Because it isn't drawn as one! And I see that the other drawings are not to the standard representations either. 
I can only deduce that they weren't produced by an engineer. However, all is a lot clearer now. I think you and I have just about exhausted this aspect of this thread: I've learnt a good deal about the various earthing systems in electrical power distribution; notes have been made.
So my thanks go to you and to everyone else who has contributed to this thread and my education.
