The trouble with both is the price, the 'Icon' effect, for what they are. I completely agree with David that the Murphy U198H is a better radio than the DAC90a, as is the Bush VHF90 or 70 if it comes to that, but is much cheaper.
I'd certainly like a B40 as well and these seem to go for more sensible prices. Collecting one and then putting it somewhere would certainly be a challenge.
There was a T1155 kicking about in one of that labs at college. Now that WOULD make a nice pantry Tx.
