Radios wrongly depicted in TV Progs

David's experiences with ex-WW2 kit matches mine: including the 're-build' of an R1155: it had already been 'tinkered with' prior to coming into my hands. It had a steel case and steel front panel. As for the HRO, yes, I've had a couple of those through my hands, too . . . but I haven't got the courage to state here what I did to them! I've made a few friends here and I don't want to lose them.
