Radios wrongly depicted in TV Progs

I too stripped and bodged ex WD stuff, my first real radio was a National HRO Senior, the one with the cylindrical plug in Xtal, I got it cheap off a bloke because he had somehow managed to mangle up the spring contacts for the coil packs, got it fixed up ok, it was good receiver, now long since gone, however these last few years I managed to obtain a decent example of one and also a 5t.
My 1st R1155 was also a bitza, had an EL95 O/P fitted I seem to remember, no case and a PSU fitted etc.I still use a R1155 from time to time, aligned and set up properly they work very well.
