Yes pots can usually be repaired of this sort of damage.
I've accidently smapped one of the connectors off before, so you're not alone there!
I managed to open the pot housing and extend the broken connection by soldering a solder tag to it.
It all depends on just how easy it is to gain entry to the inside of the particular pot you have.
