I was particularly interested in your HMV 122 record player article Gary. I have a much later HMV 1507 portable radiogram with the record player section needing attention. Your article has given me some useful pointers as I have not worked on one before.
The way you cut the replacement turntable mat reminds me very much of my initial efforts in cutting my Ekco A22 dials after laminating. I built a similar sort of circle cutter from a craft knife before obtaining a large enough commercially made one by Olfa.
By the way, I have updated my 'Replica Ekco A22T' thread now that the article is out. The images are those from the article, but obviously you can see much greater detail by 'zooming-in' here on the forum.
