I'm sure you will have told me at the time, but to be honest I can't recall you mentioning a second BP10 that you had. In any case, I didn't think you needed a dial replacement for the set I sold you, rather I assumed you'd picked another set up in the mean time.
Regarding making a repro dial. I found I could clean all traces of the original dial from the semi-circular plastic using Brasso wadding, if you look at the image of the badly erased dial it was beyond saving anyhow.
I then fixed the replacement paper/film dial inside which obviously gave it the correct shape and protected it at the same time. The end result appears quite original, I will add an image of the set later.
