Vintage, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
I'm always amused by Items on eBay which are described as Vintage when they're from the '70s.
However, I guess that's no worse than Items described as 'rare' when there are 6 others on there starting at 99p.
I'd say more Valves than Transistors. However, the Tektronix 547 'scope is clearly not 'Modern' but has an awful lot of Transistors in it, plus a lot of valves.
