They both have so it might just be a possibility
I've plugged them - The Advance and the RBM - into my Pye Garage TV.
The first two pictures are from the SG73. The virtical green line is the TV Tuning Marker - I should have turned it off really. The best I can say is it's there. It's on harmonics and I guess with a bit of twiddling, and attenuating the signal a bit it would be better. I also expect that back in the '70s the TVs might well have been more tolerant to oddball Line and Frame Syncs.
The next two pictures are from the RBM Generator. This at least attempts to generate proper syncs and is interlaced, but without equalising pulses. It's a lot better I have to say, although still a bit overloaded.
I haven't tried them on 405 - one of these days.
