Beautiful job Col. Now you get to enjoy it on a regular basis when working on the computer!
I too consider this thread an encouragement and I think we can all see that while 'woodwork' can be considered the superset, there are many subsets - everything from wood carving, wood turning, construction carpentry, cabinetmaking, and of course luthiery which is what got me started working with wood. All involve working with wood but involve different skills.
Like many on this forum I also benefited from a classic apprenticeship where much of the discipline and also the joy of learning began. Those basics learned at a tender age stay with you.
