I'm starting to get back to he workshop (short visits so far) so I've finally finished the antique chair. I'm reasonably happy with the result given I did not expand the scope of the project beyond the back and the cracks in the seat. The owner dropped by last week and saw it before the final touches and she seemed impressed (a little polish goes a long way 
)
Luckily, there were no major lacquer problems so the final result looks OK.
Now, back to the important stuff!
