Thanks to all concerned for the PDF tech books link(s) that site is a new one on me so I have stuck it in my favourites, some very large downloads but I think I will give one or two of them ago until I can maybe buy some of the books on ebay or wherever.
Just to clarify that on the maths side of AC/Radio Theory my skills are pretty basic, if the functions are not on my micky mouse calculator then that's the end but I can usually get the general drift of things on the circuitry side. I think however that to grasp the concept of real and imaginary numbers is worthwhile as we deal with the results of them all the time in our hobby eg: tuned circuits, power factor etc.
