Col, I did consider dismantling the chair completely but there are so many 'bodge' repairs on it that I figured it would take forever to finish it and I'm getting anxious to get back to my PYE P53 cab restore. I will however discuss with the owner and if she doesn't mind waiting a 'long' time to get it back I may go the whole hog as they say and dismantle, strip it and then re-finish, etc. While it's an interesting project I'd prefer to get back to the radio stuff.
