As to replacing the waxies, one of the good things about the DAC90A is that at least they're all accessible on the tagstrip, whereas on some sets they're amongst a rats' next of wiring, often calling for other components to be disturbed. In such cases the 'Col Coiler' really comes into its own - just snip off the old cap leaving about 1/4" of the wire ends in place, coil the wire ends on the new cap, slip it over the old wires and solder in place. Minimal disturbance, minimum time and effort. Such a simple and clever device - a real spark of genius!
