You don't want to use Internet Explorer: far too prone to being 'got at' by all the nasties on the 'Net. 
I'd switch to Firefox if I was you. After IE, it takes a bit of getting used to, sure, but worth it. I made the switch about 2 years ago; never looked back; never went back; not going back.
