Like yours, my aerial is missing Rob - just the slots where it is stowed are present. I've never actually seen a pic of an aerial to copy - the square edged sets seem less common than the rounded corner pre-war (line cord) sets - I don't know if they had the same aerial arrangement. I'll probably make a little former from a piece of plywood when I get round to restoring the set. As to the larger knob on my set, it's more than likely non-original, but it looks in keeping.
