Yes he was there, goodness the view of Weston from the top going towards the fort, on that old road, i too have climbed those steps many times with the kids, a lovely place to chill out after you can breath again, its a pity there was not a decent plaque to mark this event, a bit of fame for Brean Down,s, thanks guys for your replies...regards....Alan.
