Don't tell my wife, she has so many eng titles after he name it's unreal. Decent machinist to boot, better than I am in some respects. Again, same old problem, had to fight the school all the way to get into engineering as it was deemed not suitable for women, unhelpful teachers putting blocks out at every turn, and they wonder why there are not many women in engineering these days.
So far the missus has had the pleasure of working for British Aerospace, BOC, Airbus Industries (A380 mostly), Daewoo before they went kaput, TWR before they got asset stripped by the owner, and now Cormon Teledyne. In all roles doing design and manufacturing.
