We're both Mods, Paula, and, as the great Jarvis Cocker, said "What's the point of having a position of influence if you can't abuse it?"

I agree about most school-learning lacking any sort of real-world application.

I only did a bit of cooking at primary school but have learnt since; I've just been taking an apple cake out of the tin.

You can see why I was glad to see the back of my hair as I could never do a thing with it 'til it started to thin out.
